The only one I don’t care for is the kids playing outside thing. There’s a reason we went from having unsupervised adventures to supervised ones.
When most millenials’ parents were kids, there wasn’t a national sex offender registry that someone could just look up whenever they wanted. First graders were kidnapped from bus stops and their cases only solved thirty, forty years later. Generally, there was less information about the danger involved with letting kids roam around. People suffered entirely preventable losses. There’s no reason kids under the age of twelve should be running around entirely unsupervised by adults.
