Erik: Erik’s not worth loving. Only an idiot would
Daroga: You always said I was a great booby, did you not?
What if instead of the whole “she kissed me daroga I love her I’m gonna die” Erik comes to the Daroga’s flat and just falls to his knees before his friend’s feet and sobs “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry, please forgive me, you are my friend and I tried to kill you and I am so sorry” and the Daroga just sighs and pulls Erik into his arms until he stops crying
