it’s hell to be 30+ on tumblr i literally never though that age was an issue for anything until i joined this website and found posts hating on my demographic every day. i especially love ppl who think if you’re 30+ you are a complete technophobe… bitch we were the first generation to use the internet and we literally nurtured the development of fandom as you know it… but sure go ahead and think fandom and fandom wars did not exist before tumblr.
It’s WEIRD AS FUCK, if you are over 25 you’re ancient and you’re both supposed to baby younger users but also to stay away from them or you’re predatory. Also in fandom circles… I wonder if those people realize how many of their favourite fanartists and fandom famous writers and community maintainers are over 30 . I’m just… it’s admittedly sort of funny. Unsettling, but funny.
tumblr logic: if you’re under 25 you’re a literal child, if you’re over 25 you’re old
