like thor apparently is fluent in groot’s language so he obviously can understand what he’s saying. so maybe groot’s name isn’t “groot”. that’s just the only phrase he says.

AND THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS THAT GROOT’S ACTUAL NAME IS TREE
