the first night in our condo we were slowly falling asleep but were woken up by fireworks and then, not too long after, a loud smacking sound that started at my friends room then slowly moved to the other side of the house. our side. it sounded like something was being eaten. coughing. smacking. we lay dead silent scared it was coming from above us. the attic we haven’t been in all week. as soon as we vocalized our fear the sound came right from outside our window. it loudly smacked three more times, as we sat frozen, and was silent the rest of the night

the condos next to us are empty btw

did it again tonight turns out it’s just a FAT ASS dog

no offense but like. the part of devil wears prada when andy’s friend gives her a hard time about how her life is moving up and how she miiiiight be moving on to a guy that isn’t her boyfriend (who also moved the earth to get her the unpublished harry potter manuscript!!!!!!!!!)? that gets me heated because andy is literally just trying to get her life moving and if that means she dumps her boyfriend because he openly discourages her about it constantly???????????? that’s life!!!

more on andy’s joke-ass boyfriend. she literally made it very clear to you that the job was deeply demanding, so when you made that shitty comment about her relationship with miranda (which will shape her entire life, regardless of whether your sorry ass is a part of it), all you did was make it obvious that you think her job is a joke!!!! kick him to the Curb.

One thing I like about Pixar films is how the happy ending isn’t always what you think it’ll be. The toys don’t go with Andy to college, Gusteau’s restaurant gets closed down, Mike and Sully get kicked out of university, Carl never gets Ellie to Paradise Falls. But they find out that what they wanted isn’t necessarily what they needed, and I really like the fact that kids get to learn that life doesn’t always turn out the way they dreamed and that’s okay.

I remember reading this post a couple years back, and the message stuck with me since
