Concept: Krolock writing with a quill while Alfred is seating beside him, reading. Krolock teasing Alfred by tickling him with the tip of the feather of his quill on the cheeks, on his throat, on his lips. It both tickles and arouses Alfred.

Okay, so Jade responding to her last concept with a ficlet inspired me to do the same. I am attempting to write out this little vignette for you and I hope you enjoy it!!

“Will you cut that out now?”

“Whatever do you mean?”

Alfred swatted Johannes’ quill away from his face impatiently,
glowering into the pages of his latest article. He’d been editing for hours,
determined to perfect the writing style and tone. Alfred had been publishing
under pseudonyms for over half of the century, and still, it was difficult to
handle the nuance just so. Johannes, of course, knew the level of concentration
required and took it as his cue to lovingly torture Alfred out of his proper
wits.

The feather tipped under his nose once more and, without so much
as a glance, Alfred gently smacked Johannes’ wrist.

“You’re distracting me.”

“Distracting? You’re keeping me from a very important letter,
Mause.”

Alfred snorted derisively.

“Oh, yes, of course. Do excuse me.”

“Moreover, my quill cannot be causing more of a distraction than
that pen mark on your cheek.”

Johannes
skimmed the ticklish tip of his writing utensil over the exact spot where
Alfred had neglected to cap his pen appropriately before slipping it behind his
ear. Alfred would have
waved him off had the brush of the feather there not felt somewhat enjoyable.

“And just look at the state of your top button. Entirely
unprofessional.”

Johannes’ quill grazed the outline of Alfred’s collar bone and
he felt a pleasant shiver crawl through him. He resisted the urge to fix the
button and fend off his partner’s flirtations. The article didn’t have to be
finished by dawn, after all.

“How am I going to finish this very important correspondence?”

Alfred felt the feather passing over his lips and he sighed
unconsciously,

“If you are so horribly distracted, why not ask me to leave?”

Johannes tutted quietly.

“I cannot concentrate long enough to dismiss you, I’m afraid. I
shall have to suffer.”

Alfred turned away from his article to address his flirtatious
assailant just in time for Johannes to turn the feather’s path higher up, along
his jawline.

“Well, it is a very
important
letter and I know I am in your way…”

He vacated his chair and managed to cross part of the distance
to the door before Johannes called after him,

“You know, it is far worse when you turn your back to me.”

Alfred turned back only slightly at the door,

“Oh, yes. I know.”

As he made his way towards the bedroom, he knew Johannes
wouldn’t be far behind.
