I’ve been thinking for two days how I would align the different Phantoms in this meme myelf and I think I agree with everything, except Winslow. I think I’d put him next to Chaney Erik.

Headcanon that one day, after Christine has returned from Erik’s home and after she saw his face, Christine gets a small note from the opera ghost (who she now knows is actually plainly named Erik). It simply asks if she’ll visit with him that afternoon, and that they can go on a carriage ride or stay in and enjoy music together if she should like.

Of course she doesn’t exactly want to go, but when she spots a pair of sad eyes watching her above the stage she decides to accept his invitation.

And so Christine meets Erik that afternoon in her dressing room and he’s much more talkative and almost giddy acting. After 20 minutes in his home, with Erik talking a million miles per hour and switching between trying to entertain her and showing off different objects in his home, she finally asks him bluntly why he asked her to visit today.

And then Erik gets really quiet and shy, and he won’t look at her only at the ground. Christine is afraid she has somehow upset him with her question, but then she hears him mumble, “Today is my birthday.”

He just wanted to have someone to talk to on his birthday, and there’s no one else he would rather see than her.

Also idk if you’re into Erik/Christine, so I’ll just say the same ask meme for your favorite phantom pairing :)

  • Gives nose/forehead kisses:
    Erik, mostly bc he’s taller (and he can’t really get nose kisses ;_;)
  • Gets jealous the most:
    Erik. It’s one hell of an issue with him.
  • Takes care of on sick days:
    Erik takes care of Christine of course, but when he gets ill, he insists he’s fine until Christine all but straps him to his bed
  • Drags the other person out into the water on beach day:
    Christine 😀
  • Brings the other lunch at work:
    Christine, mostly in an effort to get that beanpole to eat something at all
  • Tries to start role-playing in bed:
    Oh gosh. I think they’d be pretty conventional in that area, but Erik might believe it would be easier for Christine to imagine herself with someone more handsome, so he might suggest that (in which case she’d tell him she wants no one but him)
  • Embarrassingly drunk dancer:
    Both
  • Firmly believes in couples costumes:
    Erik. Look at the effort that drama queen put into his Red Death costume and Christine’s wedding gown.
  • Breaks the expensive gift rule during Christmas:
    Erik – he tends to go overboard on gifts in general.
  • Makes the other eat breakfast:
    Christine’s constantly fighting to get Erik to eat and sleep so probably her
  • Remembers anniversaries: 
    Both, and they’re very tender, special moments for them
  • Brings up having kids first:
    Christine, as Erik has many fears about fatherhood and the possibility of passing on his deformity to his child
  • Kills the bugs:
    Erik, though as we all know he gets very touchy about it
  • First to define them as a couple:
    Erik. I feel like labels are more important to him bc they offer him reassurance
  • Who hides their guilty pleasures longer:
    Both, though it’s a more complicated issue for Erik
